How onboarding works

Onboarding converts business facts into reviewed configuration. The visible steps change with the selected primary outcome and supporting capabilities, so an appointment business sees scheduling setup while a dispatch business sees job and team rules.

Typical setup sequence

  1. Choose the primary outcome and optional supporting capabilities.
  2. Describe the business, industry, specialty, locations, hours, customers, services, and operational rules.
  3. Configure the Nevo phone path and optional Premium PBX departments.
  4. Create the team, PBX destinations, and department route assignments when those features are enabled.
  5. Review call goals and call handling, including natural conversation and digit-menu fallback behavior.
  6. Configure spam and VIP policy.
  7. Create services or catalog items, professionals, schedules, calendars, and payment rules required by the selected outcome.
  8. Choose the Nevo voice, welcome message, disclosures, and pronunciation guidance.
  9. Run validation, resolve every blocking dependency, and certify the current configuration before launch.

Save, review and certification

  • Saved values belong to the workspace and are not merely page drafts.
  • Changing a certified section invalidates older test evidence so the active configuration can be retested.
  • Provider-dependent steps remain blocked until the corresponding connection is authoritative.
  • Onboarding must be completed before full account settings become the normal management surface.
