Professional profiles
- Identity, contact information, role, location, active status, and bookable status.
- Assigned services and required capabilities.
- Weekly working hours and daily lunch periods.
- Recurring blockers and date-specific exceptions.
- Preparation, cleanup, and travel buffers.
- Connected calendar and assigned appointments.
Calendar structure
Use one shared team calendar when the team works from a common source of availability. Use separate calendars when each professional owns independent working hours, blockers, and external-calendar connections. Owners and managers can change this after onboarding in Appointment settings under Calendar structure.
Availability inheritance
- Business hours and closures are the parent rules.
- Location hours and blockers can narrow business availability.
- Professional hours, lunch, blockers, and exceptions can narrow it again.
- Service capability, duration, and buffers determine whether a final slot fits.
- A professional exception cannot reopen a parent closure.
Changing between shared and separate modes preserves existing appointments, professional hours, and blockers.
